About Preseli Hills Cottages
Escape to our luxurious Preseli Hills cottages, just 15 minutes from Narberth in rural Pembrokeshire. Nestled on the edge of the Preseli Hills within the National Coastal Park, our three five-star cottages offer the perfect retreat for couples, families, and adventurers.
Enjoy the breath-taking Welsh countryside, surrounded by nature and sweeping views. Our cottages are perfectly positioned for exploring the wonders of Pembrokeshire, from historic sites to sandy beaches, with popular destinations like Tenby, Barafundle Bay, St Davids and Saundersfoot just a short drive away.
Enjoy our modern comforts, including provided bed linen, bath mats, towels, and tea towels, There is a hair dryer in the bedroom and plenty of hangers. We also supply towels for the hot tub but if you would bring your own towels to take to the beach that would be great. Plus underfloor heating for ultimate comfort. Indulge in wood-fired hot tubs, in-cottage dining, and fully equipped kitchens with Electric oven, induction hob, extractor, microwave oven, dish washer and toaster and coffee machine. Wake up to a continental breakfast delivered to your door, unwind by the wood-burning stove.
Washing etc – in laundry shed includes Washing machine, Airer, Iron and ironing board, Mop, broom and vacuum cleaner.
We have a baby’s cot and highchair available to borrow, just let us know in advance
We provide Basket of fire wood, firelighters and matches or fire clicker. There are extra bags of wood and firelighters to purchase, should you need, available in the woodshed, there is also free wood for the camp fire area and kindling which you are welcome to help yourself to.
Our pet-friendly cottages come with enclosed gardens, giving your furry friends a safe place to play. For dog care needs, we provide a garden hose, a dog hairdryer in the laundry shed, and facilities to wash dog towels and blankets.
The nearest supermarket for big food shopping is a 12-mile drive from the cottages. Consider enjoying one of our chef-prepared ‘dine in’ dishes on your first night or shop on your way in.
Closer options include a Spar and village shop in Maenclochog, each 2 miles away in opposite directions. Sarah’s Newsagents in Maenclochog offers a surprising variety of items, including groceries, tools, and more. There’s also a Post Office and petrol station nearby. Another option is the Spar in Efailwen, which is slightly larger and also has a petrol station. Other local suppliers include a farm offering fresh milk just a 5-minute drive away, and a farm shop about 10 minutes away.
Experience the communal area with log benches and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows, or splash and relax in the wood-fired hot tubs. There is a small row boat on the lake/pond which you are welcome to use at your own risk, it’s a great idea to bring clothes you don’t mind getting splashed etc.. if you fancy a row.
Enjoy movie nights with free superfast WiFi, Netflix-enabled TV, and a DVD player with a selection of films.
For outdoor enthusiasts, bring your bikes and explore the area with family bike rides, taking in the scenic views around Preseli Hills Cottages. Alternatively, book all three cottages together for a memorable holiday with friends or family.
Charging your EV at Preseli Hills cottages. We have installed a 3.2kw trickle charge plug (normal household plug) which you are welcome to use. Please note that we do not provide charging cables, so we kindly ask you to bring your own.

Preseli Hills Cottages are on Blaenllechog Farm. Satnav is normally very good, bringing most people right to the door however we hope this is helpful.
For those of you who use ‘What 3 words’ we have put the locations to the front door of each cottage a bit further down this post.
You approach the farm on a road running between Maenclochog and and Efailwen (Maenclochog is west of us and Efailwen to the east).
Once you in the vicinity you will see the entrance to the farm on the south side of the road (opposite side to the hills).
There is a concrete top to a stone driveway going down hill.
There is an entrance to another milking farm opposite, they also have a concrete entrance to their lane, if you look uphill you will see their milking sheds (just for reference).
Simply make your way down the drive, at the bottom you will see a long stone barn on your right (these are the cottages).
There is ample parking signposted.
