Ynglŷn â Lillimoor Farm Cottages
Set in eight tranquil acres on the outskirts of the picturesque village of St Florence and just three miles from Tenby's
stunning beaches, Lillimoor Farm Cottages, were converted from the milking parlour, on what was once a dairy farm. Their
caring owners have installed every comfort and convenience beneath the beamed ceilings.
After a walk along the shoreline or an amble home from the village pub, Cowslip's thick stone walls and glowing, log
burning stove provide an irresistibly cosy welcome. Two sets of French doors connect Cowslip's character-packed living
room with its private patio, inviting guests to barbecue watching the sun go down..
Primrose Cottage has character packed, spacious accommodation. Its private patio and lawned area offer the ideal spot to
dine alfresco and enjoy views across Lillimoor's landscaped gardens and meadow land beyond; while French doors from the
beam-crossed living room and sumptuous bedroom connect indoors without. Primrose Cottage is a haven of peace, comfort
and convenience. Falling into its luxurious four-poster bed after ambling home from the village pub or having enjoyed some
fun-packed coastal adventure, has to be the perfect way to end the day.
Lillimoor's eight acres present further delights for guests to enjoy. Walks around the land and an all weather tennis court,
make a stay at Lillimoor a complete contrast to the daily grind of urban life.
The local area
With its floral displays and Flemish chimneys, St Florence has long been renowned as one of the loveliest Welsh villages. The Norman church tower dominates the landscape, while its pubs provide live music and hearty pub classics. Anna Ryder Richardson's Zoo is just a ten minute stroll from the cottages. Stroke a wallaby or feed a lemur in their ‘walk-through' enclosures.
Close by lies the medieval walled town of Tenby. Its Blue Flag beaches offer a host of water-sports, fishing trips, coastal cruises, an 18 hole golf course in the sand dunes and quaint, winding streets full of cafes, shops, galleries, bars and restaurants. Take a brightly coloured, old fishing boats to Caldey Island- owned and farmed by self-sustaining monks for centuries. From poetry in pubs to fire-work displays at the harbour, events are common-place in town. September's Arts Festival serves up a programme of events from male voice choir concerts to world-class sand sculpture competitions. Late June's county-wide Fish Week shouldn't be missed. Retail therapy, water sports, stepping back in time in Manorbier's medieval castle or simply rest and relaxation? Lillimoor Farm offers it all
