Bryn Awel

About Bryn Awel

Bryn Awel Bed and Breakfast in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is open to guests all year round and combines a central St Davids location, only minutes’ walk away from the coast path, with warm and well-presented en-suite accommodation and a friendly welcome.

A comfortable guest lounge is provided, with an array of visitor information on hand, along with a recently refurbished dining room, where a range of hot and cold options are served at Breakfast, using locally sourced, natural and organic ingredients, to suit all dietary requirements including vegetarian and gluten free.

A few minutes from Bryn Awel, guests will find the wide range of shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants, attractions and places of interest that St Davids has to offer. A short walk in one direction leads to The Cathedral and Bishops Palace and in another leads to the stunning Caerfai Bay, a beautiful sandy beach, at low tide, with views across St Brides Bay to Marloes and the Islands.

Bryn Awel is situated opposite the superb Oriel y Parc Visitor Centre and gallery, a great resource for all the information that visitors to the area will need, and staffed by a great team who are always on hand to help with advice and guidance.

We are Pete and Jane Rowell and we took over Bryn Awel in 2012 and having been recently re-graded as “Visit Wales” 4  star standard, are keen to establish their bed and breakfast as the preferred place to stay in the centre of St Davids. We offer warm welcome to visitors from across Wales, the rest of the UK and World and as keen Walkers, Cyclists and Nature Lovers ourselves, are always pleased to provide advice on places to visit and experience in the area.
