Angle Bay Bed & Breakfast

About Angle Bay Bed & Breakfast

As well as walking, Angle is an ideal base for activities such as surfing, cycling, sailing, birdwatching and fishing.

We are just 15 minutes walk from West Angle Bay with Freshwater West beach, popular with surfers, just 2 miles away. The garden provides a panoramic view of East Angle Bay and guests are welcome to use the benches and picnic table or settle in the guest lounge, in front of the wood burner, with a book or a board game.

A full breakfast is provided using locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality.

The hearty cooked breakfast will include Pembrokeshire bacon, sausages (vegetarian if requested), fresh local eggs and laver bread (seaweed) gathered from nearby Freshwater West beach.  If cooked breakfasts are not your thing there is porridge, luxury muesli (with a gluten-free option) and fresh fruit salad.  Gluten-free sausages and bread are available. A packed lunch is available for £5.

There is a pub within walking distances well as a cafe.

All rooms have coffee/tea making facilities, TV, hairdryer and WiFi.

Accessibility

The two external doors are not wide enough to admit a wheelchair.  There is no step into the front door and no steps from the parking area to the front door.  There are no bedrooms on the ground floor.  The first floor is accessible by a flight of stairs.  There is no stair lift so the guests must be able to walk up and down the stairs to access the en-suite bedrooms.  The bedroom and bathroom doors are standard size.  Once on the first floor the guest bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are level.

Access to the garden is via the car park.  There are no steps but the garden slopes gently downwards.  Guests will be able to access a lawn area on both sides of the house without using steps.  The surface of the car park is gravel.  The lawn slopes gently down to a sea wall.  The drop from the garden to the bay is approximately 3 metres.  There is no fence or hedge on the sea side of the garden.  Depending on the state of the tide, there may be water next to the sea wall.

Directions
