With workshops running throughout the day led by our local Queer creatives, Emily Laurens, Jane Campbell, Samara Van Rijswijk, Anna Sherratt and Niamh Amelia, there is a variety of activities exploring creative practice and identity to enjoy. These workshops will look at portraiture, textiles, storytelling, spoken word, scriptwriting, sci-fi and more as they explore ideas embracing uniqueness, self-identity and sharing your story through creative practice. The panel discussion “Queer Talk –How our identity can influence our practice”, hosted by Damian Kerlin will be both live in front of an audience and streamed online and focusses on what it’s like to be a queer creative, finding a path in the creative industries and personal experiences. The day will culminate in a dance party with West-Wales DJ Branwen Munn, where we invite all to come and bask in the creative atmosphere and electric music of this joyful, inclusive event.
