Active Breaks in Pembrokeshire
Tuition is the way to go if you’re planning on trying something new.
Not the formal stuff, no text books here, more the ‘give it a go and if you fall off, get back on’ approach.
Pembrokeshire has plenty of highly qualified hands on instructors who can introduce you to no fewer than 15 adventure activities from paragliding to paddle boarding and diving to coasteering.
Combine your instruction with a stay at one of the activity centres. They can organise all your activity sessions and your accommodation so you don’t have to.
This kind of activity holiday is a great idea for a group of friends to get together and catch up. But it’s not just for groups, many centres offer family focused activity holidays where mum and dad are thrown out of their comfort zone and into the sea! Literally.
Most visitors include a walk on the coastpath and who can blame them; the coast path is internationally recognised as one of the best walks in the world.
It’s a long walk if you plan to do it in one go. The 186 miles will take between 10 and 14 days but most visitors tackle one stretch at a time, ticking off another section each time they visit.
All you need to do is just turn up and have fun!
