An unusual garden, made by Sarah & William Wint, that shares the benefits of Holistic Gardening. Each of the 15 individual 'show gardens' explores a theme and explains why gardens are so good for everyone, something Sarah has been researching for the over 20 years.
Planting varies from cottage garden favourites, to grasses and the naturalistic style, to tea roses and herb gardens, to seaside and clifftop. A young garden (started 2017) with something for everyone. Beginners are particularly welcome with help and advice throughout the garden.
Holistic Gardening is about planting for the wellbeing of wildlife and the earth, as well as for human enjoyment. We are an official Bee Friendly location (through the Biodiversity Wales Action Plan for Pollinators) and a partner in the St Davids Pollinator Trail.
Our tearoom serves vegan cakes made by local nutritionist Kate Iceton, as well as coffee (from bio-degradeable pods) and various teas including fresh herbal teas picked from the garden and dried herbal teas by Pembrokeshire Herbalist Leona Ralph.
The garden is inspired by Sarah's tour of the UK collecting stories of how gardens affect people's lives and the subsequent book 'Sunshine Over Clover - Gardens of Wellbeing'.
