From Direction Bristol, Swansea --- Follow the M4 till the end then go through Carmarthen - picking up signs to the A477:

From the A477 coming from Carmarthen:

Turn Right to the B4586 at traffic lights at Broadmoor & go to Cresselly. You will pass St Ostwalds School. Keep on this road and you will arrive at a T Junction with a river ahead of you (the Cleddau) turn Right.Follow this lane and signs to Lawrenny. In Lawrenny you will see the old Church ahead and signs for The Big Retreat Wales. Drive through the gates by the side of the Church. You'll need your Ticket or Email Confirmation at this point. Follow direction to our private car park (in an old walled garden next to the Camping Site). We have spaces for up to 200 cars.

From the A477 coming from PEMBROKE direction

At the Carew roundabout take the exit for 'Carew & Haverfordwest’. Go over the millpond bridge and along the road & turn left at the 'Whitehill / Lawrenny’ sign. Go through Cresswell Quay, over small stone bridge and uphill to the crossroads where you turn LEFT signposted to Lawrenny. You will see the Church ahead and signs for The Big Retreat Wales. Drive through the gates by the side of the Church. You'll need your Ticket or Email Confirmation at this point. Follow direction to our private car park (in an old walled garden next to the Camping Site). 

From the A4075 Take the 'Canaston Bridge' exit.

THE BIG RETREAT WALES CHAMPIONS A ‘YEAR OF DISCOVERY’ FOR 2019 FESTIVAL

 

In a year that Wales will celebrate a ‘Year of Discovery’, The Big Retreat Wales will return to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in 2019 with an edition that promises to bring adventure, culture, outstanding natural beauty and importantly, complete discovery.

 

Opening on Friday 24th – Monday 27th May 2019, the four-day feel-good festival has announced a slew of new additions and innovations to the schedule all designed to stimulate the mind, body and soul and help visitors to discover something new.

 

With an impressive line-up of more than 200 events including wellbeing classes, workshops, cookery demonstrations, spoken word, bushcraft, music and even rum and gin, everybody has a chance to discover a new hobby, rediscover and old one or simply discover the beauty of Lawrenny itself (Pembrokeshire’s hidden secret!).

 

Set to rejuvenate and uplift, visitors of The Big Retreat Wales will also gain insight from some of the industries most inspiring and innovative minds. Joining the line-up in 2019 is the nation's best loved daytime TV presenter Matt Johnson and life coach Ben Bidwell, who together are known as ‘The Naked Professors’ - hosts of a  new podcast that aims to strip down the perceptions of mental health.

 

Co-Founder of The Big Retreat Wales Amber Rich said: “The Big Retreat Wales has always celebrated the beauty of discovery, so we’re delighted to see that Wales will do the same in 2019.  We’d like to invite our visitors to explore something new with us next Summer and discover things they won't find anywhere else in the world. It’s exactly what makes our festival so unique.

There’s plenty on offer for little ones too, with a fully-loaded kids’ programme led by the the Majical Youth Theatre Project who, with the help of their own Festival team, are dedicated to entertaining the kids. There will be an abundance of inspirational, creative and learning activities, and new for 2019 is Anthony Nortons "Pantheon Playhouse", an interactive pop up theatre experience.

 

The Big Retreat Wales will take place on the stunning Old Castle Site in Lawrenny from 24th to 27th May 2019. Day tickets cost from £15, with weekend passes starting from £50  and under-5s admitted free. Admission includes access to all on-site fitness and wellbeing sessions, workshops, talks and live performances, whilst additional cost will be charged for Water Sports and Spa Treatments For more details visit: https://www.thebigretreatwales.co.uk/.
