TV star Anna Ryder Richardson and her husband Colin have transformed this Pembrokeshire attraction into a unique zoo that specialises in close-up meetings with endangered animals from all over the world in a natural environment.
Sit in a ‘giants chair’ just metres away from African rhinos, zebras and ostriches. Hang out in the jungle-like Valley of the Apes and watch Steve, Lisa and Bryn the gibbons swing through the trees, and be amazed by their fabulous jungle calls.
And then there are the walkthroughs – wander with wallabies (and feed them from your hand!), linger with the lemurs or check out the African Village.
Don’t forget meerkat mountain, the macaws, wild horses, kune kune pigs (that get to go for a walk around the zoo twice a day!), the camels and the South American paddock with tapirs, Tommy and Rio, rheas and llamas.
Set in 52 acres of Pembrokeshire parkland, the setting is stunning. There’s plenty of space for your wild troupe as well as the animals! Many season ticket holders come just so the kids can play on the huge front lawn with space hoppers, bikes, toys and swing ball, while Mum, Dad, Granny or Grandpa enjoy a relaxing tea, coffee or hot chocolate. There’s also a sandpit, hay barn and play park to keep the kids happy… plus watch this space as Manor House is going undercover next winter!
Open all year!
Fabulous, home-made food in our real-food café, using the best locally and ethically sourced ingredients!
If you're coming for the whole day you might like to try one of our VIP Animal Experiences for behind the scenes access and a real insight to the lives of endangered animals - fascinating, informative and great fun!
