West Dale beach

West Dale beach

A sandy beach enclosed by towering cliffs accessible only by very steep steps.

Waves here are good with solid swells and north-easterly winds but beware of strong rips, submerged outcrops, unpredictable currents and powerful waves, so best left to the more experienced surfer.

If you’re planning to visit, check out the tide times to make sure you’ve plenty of beach to play on and that you don’t get cut off by the incoming tide!
