Terms & Conditions.
All entrants agree to the following terms and conditions
Category entry
- Businesses can apply for more than one category, but separate applications must be completed for each.
- Businesses to nominate themselves or their own staff – nominations from customers and third parties will not be considered.
- We reserve the right to move an application into a different category, if deemed more appropriate and should this occur the business affected will be informed.
- Businesses applying for Best Place to Eat category must have a minimum 4 or 5 star rating Food Hygiene Rating Scheme | Food Standards Agency.
Location
- Businesses can decide to which awards they apply but they should apply through one regional awards only.
Membership
- Entrants do not need to be members of Visit Pembrokeshire. The awards are open to all tourism industry providers.
Accreditation through Visit Wales
Entries / Judging
- For each entry it is important that you read the criteria and describe in as much detail the business / product / service you are nominating.
- All entries must be uploaded electronically via the online platform. We are unable to accept entries via post/email.
- All entries must be received no later than midnight on 23rd July 2024
- All entries are judged on the quality of the submission against each criterion.
- A panel of independent judges will review entries in each category of our Croeso Awards and choose a shortlist, the highest points awarded by all the judges will establish the winner.
- A visit on the 10th September 2024 will be undertaken to businesses shortlisted in Best Place to Eat category. A visit may be undertaken to all regional finalists as part of the judging process for the National Tourism Awards 2025.
- The decision of the panel of judges is final.
- Directors and employees of Visit Pembrokeshire do not take part in or have influence over the shortlisting or judging process.
- Employees of Visit Pembrokeshire are not eligible to submit an entry to the awards.
- Applications will only be considered if they are completed in full and do not exceed the maximum word counts.
- Visit Pembrokeshire will not accept responsibility for applications delayed or lost because of any network, computer hardware or software failure.
- By entering the tourism awards, you agree that if you should win you may automatically be put forward for the Visit Wales National Tourism Awards 2025 and agree to be part of any related publicity. It will not be possible to revisit your application prior to being put forward for national judging.
Finalists
- Only award winners/finalists may use the awards logo provided by Visit Pembrokeshire.
- Under no circumstances should the logo be used by non-shortlisted businesses.
- One complimentary ticket to the awards ceremony will be given to each of the finalists.
- If a business is shortlisted in more than one category it will still only be eligible to receive one complimentary ticket.
