There’s a looping festival in Cardigan, comedy in the Queens Hall. And the doors fling open for the Christmas Market season at the end of the month, so stockings to the ready!
Saturday 5th November
West Wales International Live Looping Festival
Steve Moyes presents eight exceptional solo performers from France, Germany and the UK. Part of an international looping community, they are musically diverse, adventurous and forward looking. Their influences include free jazz, folk/pop and electronic experimentalism. Live looping is the recording and playback of a piece of music in real-time. Starts at 3pm and rolls to 10pm.
Thursday 10th November
More belly laughs in store at the Span Arts comedy club this month. Headliner is Danny Buckler, who toured with Victoria Wood, was part of the acclaimed London West End Show ‘Victoria Wood and Friends’ and opened for Ricky Gervais. Buckler is joined by Peter Brush. Brush’s deadpan delivery, first-class gag writing and dry, self-deprecating commentary has audiences in hysterics.

Tenby Blues Festival
Tenby have been shaking off the winter blues with this annual Blues festival since 2006. Three days of live music, in one of the UK’s finest seaside towns, awaits you, including the free 2-day the Blues Trail around the bars, clubs and restaurants of Tenby. Line-up includes: Gerry Jablonski and the Electric Band, Paul Lamb, The Ian Siegal Band, Lisa Mills, LeBurn Maddox, The Kaz Hawkins Band and Dale Storr - What a treat!
Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th November
Get in the festive mood with some early gift buying at Colby Woodland Garden’s Winter Fair, featuring ceramics, woodcraft, Jewellery, handmade clothing and bags, candles. The National Trust shop and woodland walks will be open and admission is free.
Scolton Manor Winter Fayre
There will be various stalls including local produce, furniture, arts and crafts and much more! This year's Fayre takes place from 10am-4pm each day. And don’t forget to check out our gift shop for a bit of rural retail therapy. Admission is just £1 per person (Under 15s FREE). A £2.50 daily parking charge applies.

Amnesty International Benefit
Rhosygilwen are making a song and dance of it in their 10th annual evening of music and dance in aid of Amnesty International. An eclectic mix of good music and song. Feet tapping is guaranteed.

Lantern Making Workshop
The lantern making workshops are taking place in the run upto Christmas as part a new project called Creative Cardigan that is launching a Festive Fortnight in December.
Join in the fun and make a lantern to join a parade through the streets and be part of an evening spectacular on Friday 9 December from 7pm – 8pm.

Span Arts Singing Workshop
Welcome to Span Arts friendly, easy-going, 2hr singing workshop, which is open to all abilities and interests. Our tutor is Clara Clay, who is a member of the NVPN (Natural Voice Practitioners Network). No need to book - Just turn up and join in. 7-9pm.

Victorian Christmas Fair
Each year Picton Castle is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s paradise, as over 50 stalls packed full of gorgeous gifts line the corridors and staterooms of its 13th Century Castle and surrounding buildings, not to mention the Food Hall on the north lawn. Open 10am – 5pm.

Glen Tilbrook @ Queens Hall
The voice and face of Squeeze, Glenn Tilbrook is one of Britain’s most cherished singers, guitarists and songwriters. This will be a legendary night out at the Queens Hall and Glenn is used to sell out shows, get your tickets in advance. Support from Lowri Evans & Lee Mason. Starts at 8pm. Oed Y Byd Tea Dance
Span Arts Oed Y Byd project and the Cheerful Project bring you a sumptuous afternoon tea party accompanied by stories, songs, poetry, music and dance inspired by global cultures. For more details head to Span Arts website.
Friday 25th – Sunday 27th November
Get into the Christmas spirit at this annual Christmas Market in Pembroke Castle. Pick up some gifts, enjoy the best local food and drink produce Pembrokeshire has to offer and meet up with friends to celebrate the festive season.
At 6:30pm on the Friday Santa will be arriving in spectacular fashion to switch on of the town Christmas lights, after walking around the castle to meet with our visitors. The Castle will be decorated and lit up to create a unique festive atmosphere and there will be entertainment and activities for everyone.
Sunday 27th November
Head to Castell Henllys for the perfect opportunity to buy those special Christmas presents. Stalls will be brimming with gifts & goodies, Santa will be there with one of his elves and you can enjoy a mulled wine and mince pie while listening to carol singers. From 11am – 4pm.
