Thursday 5th November

Wild Food Foraging

Discover your inner forager and join Julia on a foraging walk around the St David’s Cathedral and byways collecting edible wild plants to use in cooking, drinks, natural cosmetics, remedies or dyes.

Groups meet at Oriel y Parc 11am on Thursdays (Booking essential). Contact Oriel y Parc for details.

Span Arts Classical Series

The November performance in the Span Arts classical series sees Tempest perform at the Hotel Plas Hyfryd, Narberth. Tempest is an exciting flute trio: Helen Wilson, Holly Melia and Hannah Grayson have studied together for many years and the trio covers a wide spectrum of music including new works and their own arrangements. Lina Leon @ Queens Hall

Lina Leon’s wild flute playing will be joined by guitar of Jorge Bravo and the fiery dance of Annya Marte. Bringing the vibrant sounds of traditional flamenco music, with touches of afro-cuban rhythms, and a voice that echoes the Middle-East.

Shakespeare Schools Festival.

The Torch Theatre is thrilled to welcome local talent to the stage as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival. Each night three Pembrokeshire schools will perform three different Shakespeare plays – Come celebrate the achievement of our local schools while enjoying a wonderful evening of entertainment.

Span Arts Singing Workshop

Welcome to Span Arts friendly, easy-going, 2hr singing workshop, which is open to all abilities and interests. Our tutor is Clara Clay, who is a member of the NVPN (Natural Voice Practitioners Network). No need to book - Just turn up and join in. 7-9pm.

Comedy Club

Tenby Blues Festival

Tenby have been shaking off the winter blues with this annual blues festival since 2006. Three days of live music, in one of the UK’s finest seaside towns, awaits you, including the free 2-day the Blues Trail around the bars, clubs and restaurants of Tenby. Line-up includes: Connie Lush, Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton, Jo Harman, Matt Woosey and The Mean Mistreaters - What a treat!

Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November

Winter Fair

Get in the festive mood with some early gift buying at Colby Woodland Garden’s Winter Fair, featuring ceramics, woodcraft, Jewellery, handmade clothing and bags, candles. The National Trust shop and woodland walks will be open and admission is free.

Scolton Manor Winter Fayre

Visit the manor house packed with a variety of stalls, including local produce, food, arts, craft and gifts. Entry £1 person plus parking fee £2. 10am to 4pm.

Saturday 14th November

Amnesty International Benefit

Rhosygilwen are making a song and dance of it in their 9th annual evening of music and dance in aid of Amnesty International. All musicians are very generously donating their talents for free and the line-up is sure to get your feet tapping with: Fiddle Box, Sior Boyesen, Pig’s Foot String Band, Cardi-gan a harp duo and fusion belly dancing.

FLEat market, Cardigan

The FLEat market is back with an indulgent winter flea market showcasing designers, artists, bakers and makers of every kind. Explore their wears and ideas, including shabby chic and vintage clothing, music, crafts and jewellery and treat yourself to some delicious eats! Treat yourself to a delicious lunch or take away a selection of cakes, but bring the whole family. Starts 11am at The Small World, Cardigan

Legend @ Queens Hall

LEGEND are seven great musicians and singers dedicated to the life and music of the late, great Bob Marley. This isn’t the first time Legend have performed at the Queens Hall, performing previously to sell-out audiences garnering rave reviews. Starts at 8pm. Tickets available from Span Arts

Victorian Christmas Fair

Each year Picton Castle is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s paradise, as over 50 stalls packed full of gorgeous gifts line the corridors and staterooms of its 13th Century Castle and surrounding buildings, not to mention the Food Hall on the north lawn. Open 10am - 5pm.

The Baghdaddies @ Small World

The Baghdaddies are back. Expect top class world music with strong Balkan tendencies alongside Caribbean grooves, Middle Eastern rhythms and even some Geordie [their native Newcastle] touches. Uplifting and infectiously danceable, full of blistering brass, rousing five part vocal harmonies and a rhythm section that you can’t keep still to. Starts at 8pm Small World, Cardigan

Christmas Market

Get into the Christmas spirit at this annual Christmas Market in Pembroke Castle. Pick up some gifts, enjoy the best local food and drink produce Pembrokeshire has to offer and meet up with friends to celebrate the festive season.

At 6:30pm on the Friday Santa will be arriving in spectacular fashion to switch on of the town Christmas lights, after walking around the castle to meet with our visitors. The Castle will be decorated and lit up to create a unique festive atmosphere and there will be entertainment and activities for everyone.

Sunday 29th November

Christmas Fayre

Head to Castell Henllys for the perfect opportunity to buy those special Christmas presents. Stalls will be brimming with gifts & goodies, Santa will be there with one of his elves and you can enjoy a cuppa and a mince pie in our new café before joining in the carol singing at 2pm. From 11am – 3pm.

Advent Ensemble @ Pisgah Chapel

In a programme of music, words and candles to celebrate Advent, the renowned conductor and musician, John S. Davies will conduct his Ensemble, with contributions from local talented artists. In a long association with St Davids Cathedral, his concerts are legendary. Enjoy atmospheric and uplifting experience in a beautiful setting at Pisgah Chapel, Llandissilio. Starts at 7pm.
