Merry Making at the Christmas Market

We know that visiting Pembrokeshire is a one of kind experience, which is why we also know how special it can be receiving something that reminds you of your trip.

We’ve made a list of all the Christmas markets you can pick something local, handmade and unique to your time here.

15th November – Colby Woodland Garden Winter Fair. 10am-5pm 

Set in beautiful wooded gardens and grounds, these markets ensure a great day out as well as a chance to purchase presents and treats to take home. With a National Trust shop onsite you’re bound to find something suitable for any of your outdoorsy friends and relatives! And after all that shopping try an afternoon tea in the tea rooms; they come highly recommended by our friends on Facebook and Twitter. Free admission and dogs on leads are welcome.

15th - 16th November - Scolton Manor Winter Frost fair. 10am - 4pm

Experience an unusual shopping event at Scolton Manor! Local crafters and food producers will be selling delightful treats and festive gifts in the lovely setting of the Victorian Manor house. Look for that perfect gift in the Drawing Room, Library or Empire room, enjoy a taste of Pembrokeshire in the Victorian Kitchen and find fairies, photos and books in the Cellar. Scrumptious hot food and drinks will be availble to help sustain you1

16th November - Small World Theatre, winter flea market. 11am-3pm

The ever-popular FLEat markets are back with a Christmas twist, with designers, artists and bakers, selling vintage clothing, handmade crafts and jewellery and every sort of edible goodies. With music and professional storytellers on site to entertain all the family, these markets are free entry.

22nd November - Manorbier Castle ‘Moroccan’ Christmas Bazaar. 10.30am-7pm

Within the grounds of the castle this wide selection of stalls for food, treats and gorgeous gifts will surely add some inspiration to your shopping! With mulled wine and homemade mince pies available for the grown ups, there’s falconry, bushcraft and a grotto for children!

22nd-23rd November - Picton Castle and Gardens Christmas Market 10.30am – 4pm

This fundraising event is set in the grand Picton house itself, all decked out in Victorian finery. With Maria’s restaurant on site if you need a quick respite, and a Santa’s grotto and play park in case the little ones do, you’re bound to have a great day! Entry is £6.60 per person and includes free mulled wine; under 15’s go free.

28th-30th November - Pembroke Castle Christmas market. From 10am each day

Pembroke Castle is a treat to visit on any occasion but when it is fully decorated and lit up with Christmas lights, it’s unmissable.

Santa will be arriving on Friday evening to meet everyone and lead the procession through the centre of Pembroke where he hands out gifts, and on Saturday and Sunday he will be in his Grotto from 11am. Visits to Santa are £1 with all proceeds going to Paul Sartori.

5th -7th December - Saundersfoot St Nicholas Market. 2pm Friday, 10am Saturday & Sunday

The turning on of the Christmas lights in Saundersfoot is a firm favourite with families, and with celebrity chefs to inspire your Christmas treating, live music and even a choir, this is a market not to be missed. A grotto with a chance to meet Father Christmas will be on site, and entry is £2 for adults, free for under 12s.

6th December - Oriel y Parc Christmas Market. 10am-4pm

With so many fantastic artisans in and around St. Davids, this market is not to be missed. Drop into the café for mulled wine and mince pies whilst the little ones visit Santa with their Christmas lists. The market is free entry, with visits to Santa costing £1.50 per child

7th December - Carew Castle. 11am - 4pm

Carew Castle is a spectacular setting for any event! And its regular Sunday markets are so popular; this event is bound to be bustling! With face painting, Santa’s grotto and entry including a mince pie, you’ll be enjoying yourself before you even reach the stalls. Keep an eye out for local art, ceramics, glassware and sculpture.

Fridays throughout December 9am-3pm. Haverfordwest farmers market, a popular market at any time of the year, for the four Fridays in December however they deck the halls and stock all kinds of festive goodness as well as the regular stalls.
