Ahoy there!

This weekend the Milford Haven waterway will be taken over by an armada of traditional sailing vessels as the Seafair Haven festival sails into town.

Now in its 5th year the festival celebrates all things maritime.

More than 50 traditional and classic vessels from far and wide come together to meet up with old friends, make new ones and enjoy some great racing on the Milford Haven waterway.

During the weeklong festival, there’s plenty of opportunity for people to get involved.  The tall ship, Earl of Pembroke, will be moored in Milford Marina where the captain and crew will be welcoming visitors aboard.

The Tall Ship Pelican will also be offering the amazing opportunity to sail a traditional square rigged sailing ship. Get involved in pulling lines, setting sail and steering the ship, all under the supervision of our expert crew. Alternatively, sit back, relax and enjoy the complete experience!

The festival kicks off with a regatta in Lawrenny tomorrow (7th June) plus an RNLI fete, cider festival and live music. It will close on the 14th June with a dramatic Parade of Sail from Mackeral Quay, Milford Marina. Check out the full programme of events across the week.

If you like the idea of taking to the water, find a local sailing school, they'll have you ship shape in no time!
