P1 Welsh Grand Prix of the Sea at Milford Waterfront

On 15th and 16th July this year, Milford Waterfront will host the P1 Welsh Grand Prix of the Sea.

Part of the international P1 SuperStock Championship series, top powerboat racers will battle it out on a course that’s close to shore, tight and fast, which makes for a great spectacle and demands everything of the powerboat drivers and their navigators. It’s high adrenaline, fast, furious and great fun to watch.

Alongside the powerboat races there’ll be a P1 AquaX series, in which amateur and pro personal watercraft riders are invited to compete. Because of ever changing coastal conditions, the rider’s skill becomes more important than the horsepower. P1 AquaX races will be held throughout the weekend and races are split into 3 categories: 200hp, 250hp and 300hp. Full training is given to riders, so anyone can take part.

The on-water action will also include high energy jet ski freestyle displays performed by the World and former British champion, Lee Stone and Jason Bleasdale and will also see international flyboarder, Sonnie Bean wowing the crowds with his flips and tricks.
