Welsh National Scooter Rally - Tenby

Time to get your Vespa out and take a spin to Tenby for the Welsh National Scooter Rally. A must-see for all scooter lovers.

Big Plant Sale - Narberth

Summer is here. If you love gardening come along to Narberth and meet some of West Wales’ finest plant sellers at the Big Plant Sale organised by Span Arts. Expert horticultural talks, live music, food and drink makes for a memorable day out.

Sunday 4th & Monday 5th May

Picton Castle Plant & Vintage Craft Fair

Head to Picton Castle for the annual plant and vintage craft sale. The gardens will be blooming and it’s a lovely time of year to enjoy the woodlands too.

Fishguard Folk Festival

“From the colourful opening ceremony in Fishguard's town square to the fun of the finale, the Fishguard Folk Festival was a joyous and vibrant celebration of folk music set against the backcloth of an historical and picturesque town. Joining in when I could added to my enjoyment. Saturday 24th May

Preseli Beast Running Race

Love running? Then take a look at this beast of an off-road race in the heart of the stunning Preseli Mountains.

The Preseli Beast is an off-road fell race starts and finishes in Maenclochog, taking you over the Preseli Hills into the Gwaun Valley and up onto Carn Ingli, with spectacular views over Newport Bay. 24 off-road miles, with approx 4,700ft (1420m) of height gain!

If that seems a little bit too much for you the Beast Bach is an exhilarating 10.5 off-road miles, with approx 1,700ft (540m) of height gain.

Sunday 25th May

Welsh Dragon Boat Championship

A new spectacle is heading to Llys-y-Fran Reservoir this Whitsun, as the Welsh Dragon Boat Race hits the water to raise money for the Noah’s Ark Appeal and Pembrokeshire’s Paul Sartori Foundation.

20 teams, with 17 members in each boat, will be racing across Llys y Fran in a traditional Dragon Boat, rowing to the sound of the drummer at the helm. What a great family day out!

The Ugly Duckling – Span Arts

Magical storytelling, stunning puppets, colourful characters and a delightful musical score make this a must-see show for little ones and their families. Includes a special ‘meet the puppets’ session after the show.

St Davids Cathedral Festival

The St. Davids Cathedral Festival has been responsible for bringing classical music to the heart of West Wales for over 35 years. For ten days the Cathedral is host to a feast of classical and contemporary music concerts under the artistic direction of Oliver Waterer, the Organist and Master of the Choristers.
