Road Directions

To find us take the A487 from Haverfordwest.  Drive through Solva, up the hill where you will pass The Royal George on your left hand side, as you pass the pub take the 1st turning on your right. Follow the road around to the right, Y Bwlch is on your left hand side about 1/2 way along the road.

Enjoy the luxury of a hot tub whilst the younger guests enjoy the trampoline! Ideal for one large family or perhaps two holidaying together or a group of friends, this detached holiday home is in a safe and attractive cul de sac, within walking distance of all of Solva. It is just a 2 minute stroll to the friendly village pub, The Royal George. From there you can meander down past the small independent shops to the harbour to find more pubs and a choice of places to eat.

Only 10 minutes’ drive from the beautiful City of St Davids with its cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, Solva itself offers wonderful opportunities for walkers, families (crabbing for the kids!), dog owners, kayakers, sailors, and more.

Within 10 minutes in either direction of Solva you will find beaches waiting for you: paddle, swim, fly a kite, build a sand castle or take a long walk on the Coastal Path. If you want to surf, windsurf or kitesurf for the first time you will find instructors and equipment hire in Newgale and St. Davids.

There are plenty of places to walk your dog: Solva Harbour has no restrictions in place, dogs are allowed on part of Newgale beach throughout the summer, and there is plenty of walking on Solva Airfield (disused) and all the country lanes from the village.



Y Bwlch sleeps 8 in 4 upstairs bedrooms: 1 king size, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 triple bunk. The two front bedrooms have lovely sea views as does the kitchen and lounge.
The back garden is enclosed and safe for children and dogs. It is on two levels: the lower level is both paved and grassed, the upper level has a large lawn, ideal for kids to play or for sunbathing and barbecues. The hot tub is on the lower level of the rear garden. There is a large gas BBQ which is stored in the shed; this has space for you to safely store beach gear or bikes. There is plenty of outdoor seating to both the front and rear of the house. There is off road parking for 3 cars.

We do our best to help you make the most of your stay in Solva by providing a couple of body boards, surf boards, kayaks and wetsuits for you to use during your stay.
