The definition of tranquillity, Penrhiw Priory, St Davids, nestles in acres of private gardens, enveloped by woodland paths, river and meadow. Choose a bed and breakfast stay or take exclusive use and enjoy luxury accommodation, fine dining at Blas Restaurant at our sister hotel, Twr y Felin, and the perfect location to explore Pembrokeshire.

Restored with the utmost care, original features subtly contrast the contemporary interiors, creating an atmosphere which welcomes. Suede wallpaper, generous sofas, and art inspired by the beauty of nature, evoke a warmth throughout which extends into the seven ensuite bedrooms and spacious ground floor suite.

A hypoallergenic property, complimentary towels, bathrobe, slippers and aromatherapy toiletries, tempt instant relaxation, whilst the Sky TV with DVD player, iPod docking station, digital radio and tea and coffee making facilities, encourage the inclination to settle inside.

Outside is just as inviting. Turn a full 360 degrees at Penrhiw and you will glance upon the best of the peninsula’s landscape. Take a short walk to Whitesands Beach and the striking hills of Carn Llidi, where views of St David’s Head and Ramsey Island RSPB reserve leap from the ocean. Continue and see the tips of the historic cathedral extend above the treetops, which draw you down to explore Britain’s smallest city.

At breakfast, indulge. Choose from fresh fruit and croissants, to a full cooked breakfast accompanied by the Welsh seaweed delicacy, laverbread. For dinner, take advantage of our complimentary transfer to and from Blas Restaurant, just a few minutes by car and experience the best of local and seasonal produce in Wales’ first contemporary art hotel. Private dining is also available at Penrhiw for groups of eight to 18 guests.

For a truly unique break, choose a two or three hotel stay. Penrhiw’s sister properties, former windmill Twr y Felin, or 12th century Roch Castle, both located just a few miles apart, also offer luxury accommodation, quality dining and spectacular location. Complimentary luggage transfers are available.

Our rates are per room per night, based on two guests sharing and include VAT, parking and Wi-Fi. Book direct for a preferred rate.

Note: Due to its historic nature, Penrhiw is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or children under 12 years. As a hypo-allergenic property, we cannot accept pets.
