Accessibility Oak and Beech cottages are situated in the countryside. There is no public transport available within 1.5 miles. Personal transport is therefore required. The nearest towns are Tenby (10 miles), Narberth (10 miles), Carmarthen (20 miles), Haverfordwest (20 miles) and villages are Amroth (1.5 miles), Kilgetty (4 miles), Saundersfoot (8 miles), St Clears (8 miles). The entrance is through a single 10ft gate onto a level courtyard large enough to turn a vehicle round. Vehicles may be unloaded right outside the front doors of both cottages but must then be parked in the car park which is 30yds. maximum from front doors, again on level ground. There is ample room to park and turn in the car park. There is movement sensitive lighting covering the courtyard, car park and front doors operative from dusk 'til dawn.There is a step, max.8 inches at both front doors and also at the back door of Oak Cottage but Beech back door is just a step over the standard door threshold and then a small step upto the patio area. Also, both front porches have a handrail to one side to aid access. A temporary ramp can be provided if required. There are no internal steps. All doors internally and externally, are a standard 2ft. 6in. width. Light switches are at approx. 4ft.6in. The main room and bedroom are fully carpeted and the kitchen and bathroom are tiled/ wood. All walls are painted with coloured matt and the doors are all wooden with the exception of the back and front doors, which are half double-glazed. There is ample central lighting with additional wall lights/lamps. The smoke and CO detectors and alarm are audible and situated in the main room. The shower in Oak Cottage has a 900mm. quadrant base within a standard cubicle and is fitted with a vertical grab rail and in Beech Cottage the shower is over a 'P'shaped bath, again with grab rails. A shower seat is available along with a frame support for the w.c. if requested. The kitchen units, sink and cooker are standard height with high level wall cupboards as well. Finally, as far as we are aware, all mobile networks are accessable from our property and free wi-fi is also available.
