Road Directions

From Haverfordwest, take B4327 to Dale.  Drive in to the village along the sea front.  Take the left passed the Griffin Inn.  Drive straight on passed the Yacht Club, signed Field Studies Centre.  Drive until you reach the Fort.

Some Sat-Navs, will take you to Point Farm Campsite so keep driving past the camp site until you reach the Fort.

Dale is a year round water-sport and adventure destination, with its sheltered bay. Dale Fort has an on-site slipway for easy access to the sea; perfect for Kayaking & Scuba groups and other water-sport enthusiasts.

More than 70 years experience delivering Marine Ecology, Biology, Geography and Geology fieldwork to all ages.

A perfect venue from which to explore the coast and off-shore islands, such as Skomer.

200m from the Welsh Coastal Path and walking distance to 4 beaches, including the secluded Watwick Bay.

Dale Fort has rooms available across 3 blocks.
St Bride's Block has accommodation on 2 floors, 4 en-suite rooms (sleeping 4-10) and 2 Dormitory Rooms (sleeping 5-12) with communal showers & toilets.
St Cadoc's Block has accommodation on 2 floors, 4 en-suite rooms (twin) and 11 rooms (sleeping 2-3) with communal showers & toilets.
St David's Block has accommodation on 2 floors, 8 en-suite rooms (sleeping up to 5), 2 with disabled facilities including wet-rooms.  

Dale Fort can host conferences and corporate functions.  Broadband speeds c.30 MBps.
2 meeting rooms/classrooms with audio-visual whiteboards & disabled access via the on-site lift.
2 laboratories with audio-visual whiteboards.

The library serves as a communal lecture space meeting space with seating for 80.

There are 2 sitting rooms, outdoor seating areas and a fully licensed bar.
