This Access Statement for Cefn-y-Dre Country House is designed to enable you to make an informed decision as whether we are able to meet your requirements for accommodation.

 

LOCATION:

We are situated adjacent to a working farm in a rural location one and a quarter miles from the centre of Fishguard which is the closest point providing a bus service. Goodwick is the closest rail station and is two miles distant. We are happy to collect guests using public transport from their arrival point.

Cefn-y-Dre is clearly marked on Ordnance Survey maps with grid reference for Cefn-y-Dre being SM963354.

 

THE HOUSE:

Cefn-y-Dre stands in its own grounds providing large open garden areas for guests to enjoy. Access to the house is through a wide door and up one low rise step.

 

The Dining Room and Guest Lounge are both on the ground floor looking out across the south facing garden while all bedrooms are on the first floor and accessed by a wide staircase with shallow treads. Bedrooms are either en-suite or with private facilities and come equipped with hospitality trays, television and hairdryer. Smoke alarms are installed throughout the house together with emergency lighting to illuminate the stairs and exit. 

 

CATERING

All bookings are accepted on a bed and breakfast basis but dinner is available if booked in advance. Special diets are catered for and organic produce is used where possible, - a lot being produced in our own kitchen garden.

 

PARKING

There is plenty of parking within about 15 metres of main entrance with drop-off point for guests immediately outside main entrance. The route from parking area to entrance is flat with no steps.
