Priory beach

Priory beach

A pristine beach on the Island of Caldey off Tenby’s south beach.

Caldey Island is home to monks of the Cistercian Order. Access to the island is by boat from either Tenby Harbour or Castle beach depending on the tides.

Boats depart between Easter and the end of October Monday to Friday and Saturday during June, July, August. The island is closed on Sunday.

It’s a wonderful beach for families with plenty of space to run around without bothering other beach users and the perfect spot for a picnic.
