Monkstone beach

Monkstone beach

Even given the location between Saundersfoot and Tenby, Monkstone feels very wild and remote.

Access to the beach is by a permissive footpath through Trevayne Farm and there is limited parking on the lane. Access down to the beach is by a steep but well-maintained path with steps onto the beach.

You can, of course, walk along the coast path from Saundersfoot or walk along the beach when the tide is at its lowest. Watch out for squirting razorshells!

If you’re planning to visit, check out the tide times to make sure you’ve plenty of beach to play on and that you don’t get cut off by the incoming tide!
