Music festivals in Pembrokeshire

If you love music you will love Pembrokeshire.

Every year Pembrokeshire plays host to several major music festivals, covering classical, folk, jazz and blues.

The year kicks off with the Narberth A Cappella Voice Festival and finishes with the Blues in Tenby. Fishguard plays host to Folk, International Music, Jazz and Blues, while St Davids offers the Cathedral Festival and Celtic Folk.

Of course, we also have music happening all year round. Check out our listing of the very best music, and dance, venues Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Narberth A Cappella Voice Festival

This unique Voice Festival raised its curtains in 2008 and is the only festival of its type to take place in Wales. Celebrating the diversity of unaccompanied singing, this friendly and welcoming festival, organised by Span Arts, offers a packed weekend of performances, workshops and a unique scratch choir. Everyone can sing – tune in and find your voice!

Fishguard Folk Festival

“From the colourful opening ceremony in Fishguard's town square to the fun of the finale, the Fishguard Folk Festival was a joyous and vibrant celebration of folk music set against the backcloth of an historical and picturesque town. Joining in when I could added to my enjoyment. It's in my diary for next year. Make sure you put it in yours - it's well worth a visit.”  Looking forward to seeing you at this year’s festival Elizabeth!

St Davids Cathedral Festival

The St Davids Cathedral Festival has been responsible for bringing classical music to the heart of West Wales since 1979. For ten days the Cathedral is host to a feast of classical and contemporary music concerts under the artistic direction of Oliver Waterer, the Organist and Master of the Choristers.

Fishguard International Music Festival

Fishguard International Music Festival is the oldest and most established festival in Pembrokeshire, having set stage first in 1969. This 12-day celebration of classical music brings some of the finest musical talent from Wales, the UK and internationally to this beautiful corner of Pembrokeshire.
